We're proud to announce that since sitting for the Cambridge IGCSE examinations for the first time in 2016, Nguyen Sieu students have been consistently recognised as among Vietnam's Top Scorers each year.

In 2017, Principal Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy said, “The results for the examinations taken in 2016 and 2017 reaffirms the success of our IGCSE pilot, and its potential. Despite the challenges we faced establishing the programme in its first two years, we have still managed to achieve excellent results. I wish for all IGCSE students in the next batch to follow in their foot steps, and that Nguyen Sieu will continue to produce top students each year!”

Following in the footsteps of her seniors, Phan Ha An (Class 10S, AY2017-2018) who sat for the Cambridge IGCSE examinations in June 2018, has been commended with the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for achieving the highest score in the Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language examinations.

The Cambridge International Examinations (CAIE) group sent the Certificate and Letter of Commendation to Nguyen Sieu School on 20 November 2018, which was only the cherry on top of the jubilation felt by the teachers and school community on Ms. Phan's behalf!

Previously, Nguyen Thu Huong, who was part of the first batch of students to take the Cambridge IGCSEs in June 2016, was awarded the English as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement) prize for achieving the highest mark in Vietnam.

The second year, in June 2017, Nguyen Thi Tu Quynh achieved the highest mark for English as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement) and Global Perspectives.

The spectacular results achieved are both a source of honour and pride for students and teachers alike. May they serve as an encouragement to students who are currently studying for the IGCSE examinations!
