Today (13/9), Nguyen Sieu school's teachers and students embarked on a trip to So Temple in Vinh Phuc province, to celebrate mid autumn festival with the temple's less fortunate children.

The mid autumn festival has always been a joyous occasion for Nguyen Sieu students. Aside from the usual festivities such as lantern parading or making masks, students also throw together a feast with various fruits and sweets.

Even more special, this year festival called on students to share gifts and sweets; so that less fortunate children can also partake in this joyous occasion.

Not only did the children play games, partaking in the feast, but also bring back sweets and toys for their siblings at home who couldn't participate. The temple never seen such joy before, the children' laughter filled the air and bright smiles across everyone's face.

The meeting was brief, but it was enough to connect with the villagers and the abbot of So Temple. Nguyen Sieu students were enthusiastic throughout the whole trip, and delighted with bringing joy to other children.

" Coming from afar, seeing the children's smiles, their bright eyes, we feel that our effort might be small, but meaningful to others. It is also what drives Nguyen Sieu school to open its heart to the land, the people who are less fortunate." Remarked by Mrs Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, Vice president, before parting.
