On Sunday (20/10), Nguyen Sieu School hosted a special workshop called " Tips and trick on how to apply to New Zealand University", with a very special guest speaker, Mrs Andrea Flavel - Director of Professional and Continuing Education, Massey University.
Mrs Andrea Flavel, Director of Professional and Continuing Education from Massey University, New Zealand, visited Nguyen Sieu School, and headed a very special workshop for students and students parents. The workshop was called " Tips and tricks for applying for New Zealand universities", where students learned valuable skills about the process of applying for universities in New Zealand. This is a valuable chance for parents as well, to familiarize with the process, and in turn, assist their children with the preparation of required documents.
Furthermore, the workshop also helps the students explore their options when it comes to higher education, such as choosing a major that suits future career, or choosing an university based on its academic fortes. Mrs Andrea also gave counsel for each students after the lecture, advising them on which major they should pursuit based on their personal strengths and carreer they want to pursuit in the future.
This is a unique, valuable experience for Nguyen Sieu students. Mrs Andrea is an expert in her fields, she shared her passion with our students to help them in their paths to higher education.
